AFO Data Migration

What Is It?
AFO's Data Migration Service is the fastest, most automated and cost effective way to move source data from legacy or competitor applications into the industry's leading network management system – OSPInSight.

Why Use AFO?
The unique OSPInSight expertise of AFO's software developers and data services staff is not available anywhere else!
It's that simple.

Using the creators of OSPInSight to migrate your data into OSPInSight is the most significant time and cost saving method available – Need a better reason?

How Does It Work?

Submit: Through the simplicity of FTP, email attachments and/or mailing in actual CDs of your legacy and competitor application data files, AFO can immediately begin the process of assessing your data migration needs.

Assess: AFO will review both your tabular and graphical data files to determine their one-to-one compatibility with OSPInSight tables and fields and, if necessary, formulate data storage solutions for those that do not have a one-to-one relationship.

Program: After assessing the data, AFO will architect a plan for the programming needed to address the data in each table and field, and each graphical element to be migrated into OSPInSight. AFO works closely with each customer to insure that the migration output meets your expectations. Depending on your source application and AFO's prior migration of similar applications, AFO measures its migration process in days instead of months!

Transfer: Once the migration programming is complete, the actual data transfer process is only a matter of days.

Cleanse: With your data inside OSPInSight, AFO can quickly evaluate it to expose any inaccuracies in network standards compliance, data integrity and connectivity. AFO will then provide an itemized and prioritized resolution plan to solve those inaccuracies which could involve other AFO services such as field auditing, data gathering or manual data conversion and clean-up.
