We have numerous types of equipment that travel back and forth. If anything happens, we can move stuff to our 96-strand. With this [software], I can explain to someone how to find a piece of equipment and find a route.

Matt Harkness, Network Engineer, Grand Valley State University

Requirements

With a fiber infrastructure across two campuses and shared with the City of Grand Rapids and nearby universities, Grand Valley State University (GVSU) needed a single platform to document and organize its dense network. Users such as network engineers and field technicians needed to be able to access the data anytime, anywhere.

Results

IQGeo enables all of GVSU’s fiber network users to access fiber equipment data whenever they need to. The software gives them simple troubleshooting, more reliable service, and intuitive ways to decide how to continue investing in their network.
