With OSPInsight, you have a full lifecycle platform in planning, designing, building, and operating a fiber network.
However, we understand that in order to operate a fiber network there are other needs that you would want to sync with OSPInsight. And in order to do that, we have created an open API which uses a RESTful API.

Live-Alarm Monitoring
Through EXFO’s Fiber Guardian, OSPInsight has enabled many customers to monitor their fiber networks 24/7 with less staff while reducing troubleshooting. So if there’s a break you can get a notification within seconds of the fiber break and see exactly where the field team needs to go to repair the fiber.
Automated Designs
Although you can design and plan fiber deployments with OSPInsight, we’ve partnered with incredible design tools to automate large-scale deployments. With Biarri Networks as well as Comsof Fiber you can generate FTTx designs and BOMs in minutes as opposed to days or even weeks. Through OSPInsight you can simply ingest either of their designs into a fully operational OSPInsight database.
Open API
The OSPInsight Open API makes it easy for you to pull unique identifiers of your data out of OSPInsight and integrate these unique identifiers with other systems that hold your network data.
To start using the API, you will need to update to OSPInsight Web 9.3 with the Integrations Add-on enabled. You can access the OSPInsight Open API here.
